MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN-The build-to-suit project for will house the Le Cordon Bleu culinary program at Brown College. The building is near Brown's campus at Highway 13 and Interstate 35E.

ST. PAUL-The new medical office building would house specialty services from Regions and Gillette Children's hospitals, freeing up space for more beds in those facilities. Frauenshuh Cos. will develop the three-story building in conjunction with the St. Paul Port Authority.

MINNEAPOLIS-Office vacancy declines slightly to 18.3% as the market reverses two years of negative absorption. Downtown office markets continue to struggle, though, according to a United Properties market report.

MINNEAPOLIS-The 60,000-sf four-story building recently opened at 700 S. 10th Ave. and will be a key element of the Minneapolis Lifesciences Corridor. United Properties will do the renovation, leasing and management.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN-Bloomington-based United Properties proposes a 500,000-sf mixed-use business park on the site that was once considered for a larger project.

ST. PAUL-A 175,000-sf new tower and 15,000-sf addition are key elements to the expansion and renovation project at a HealthEast Care System hospital that, eight years ago, was slated to be closed.

MINNEAPOLIS-Wal-Mart's long-expected foray into the Twin Cities grocery store market will come in 2006 as the huge retailer expands stores in Maple Grove, Elk River and Shakopee. The stores will compete with SuperTarget, Cub Foods, Lund's and other grocery outlets.

ST. PAUL-The 100,000-sf specialty health care center will be located on the north end of the United Hospital campus in St. Paul. McGough Construction is building the project, which is expected to be ready in the spring of 2006.
