MINNEAPOLIS-A committee of the Minneapolis city council approves a tax increment financing deal for the $180-million Midtown Exchange, which would redevelop the 1-million-sf former Sears warehouse space on Lake Street.

ST. PAUL-The House Tax Committee passes a bill that provides for separate Twins and Vikings stadiums. The catch is that the host cities must pass a referendum.
