KANSAS CITY-Dallas-based Simbol Commercial, have revealed plans to refurbish the 32-story building that first served as an office for Fidelity National Bank & Trust. It had been on the auction block in 1999.

KANSAS CITY, KS-Midwest Grain Products, the only bidder, pays $6.5 million for the 80,000-sf plant and 13-acre site. Ralston Purina Co. and Hills Co., were present at the auction but did not make bids.
