PHOENIX—Buchanan Street Partners, a Newport Beach-based real estate investor, has acquired Stapley Corporate Center, a two-building, class A office property located at 1840 and 1910 South Stapley Drive in Mesa.
PHOENIX—The Praedium Group purchased Adobe Ridge, a 224-unit apartment complex in Glendale, from Farnum Properties LLC . The $26 million sales price equates to $116,000 per unit.
PHOENIX—Reputation.com has taken a 20,000-square-foot lease, launching a new office in Tempe, Ariz. to open in July, where it intends to hire as many as 150 people by 2015.
PHOENIX—In just one of these deals of the week, DM Sorrento, a private investor, has acquired Scottsdale Airpark II, a 47,933 square foot, two-building, industrial project located at 16000 N. 80th St. and 16001 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop, for $6.3 million.
PHOENIX, AZ – The South Mountain Crossing shopping center at 3636 W. Southern Ave. in Phoenix, sold for $11,172,825, or $84 per square foot in an all cash, value-add investment sale.
PHOENIX—Walmart announced plans to build a Supercenter at the iconic Metrocenter Mall, near I-17 and 35th Avenue, in northwest Phoenix. Work on the project is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2015 with the demolition of the former Broadway building, which has been vacant since 2006.
PHOENIX—Newport Beach-based FPA Multifamily, LLC. purchased for more than $23.8 million Sierra Vista I and II, located at 710 and 615 S. Hardy Dr. in Tempe, from Sierra Vista Apartments, LLC of Leawood, Kansas.
PHOENIX—7th Gate Center, a 43,426 square foot mixed-use project located at 1601 N. 7th Street in Phoenix, closed for $5 million. The project is the second Phoenix area purchase for Cole Valley Partners. This also marks the second transaction closed through a Cole Valley/RealtyShares collaboration, as well as the largest crowdfunded commercial real estate transaction to date in metropolitan Phoenix.
PHOENIX—HBI International, dba BBK Tobacco & Foods LLP, a wholesale distributor since 1996, is consolidating its two Phoenix locations and expanding to a building owned by Cabot Properties, Inc. The 88,488-square-foot building at 3401 W. Papago St. will serve as the tenant's world headquarters.
