ATLANTA-The New York-based firm obtains $100 million in funding to acquire the 1.8-million-sf IBM Corporate Campus, located on 206 acres in University Research Park. Total price, sources tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity, is $130 million, or $72.22 per sf.
ATLANTA-An affiliate of the Munich-based insurance company buys a 601,000-sf distribution center in Gwinnett County for approximately $32.28 per sf from Indianapolis, IN-based Duke Realty. The newly constructed facility is 84% leased to Des Plaines, IL-based United Stationers.
PHILADELPHIA-A former 117,000-sf distribution center at 1100 E. Erie Ave. is sold to locally based Community Academy for about $17 per sf for conversion into a charter school. It is among several area industrial buildings recently acquired for this purpose.
PHILADELPHIA-The discount apparel retailer moves into the former JC Penney location adjacent to Galleria II on Market Street in Center City. It follows a 30,000-sf Old Navy lease, which took Galleria II to 85% occupancy.

PHILADELPHIA-Emeryville, CA-based Devon Self-Storage relocates from Callowhill Street to a two-story, 165,000-sf warehouse property on East Oregon Avenue to gain easier access to Center City. It will spend $5 million to renovate the building, now used for record storage.
ATLANTA-Jackson Plaza, a three-building, 172,000-sf office facility in Oak Ridge, TN, is up for sale at an asking price of about $31.98 per sf. It is the only class-A office property in Oak Ridge, about 15 miles northwest of Knoxville, TN.
PHILADELPHIA-After a lengthy search for land for a 330,000-sf store, the Sweden-based retailer must await rezoning of the proposed 44-acre Penn's Port Pavilion waterfront parcel it wants. If the city council delays or refuses, IKEA may turn to NJ.
