ATLANTA-On the heels of selling two buildings and 23 acres near the airport to Roush Racing for $13 million, the Charlotte-based developer begins pre-marketing Concord Airport Business Park on 10 nearby acres. Plans call for three buildings, totaling 130,000 sf.
ATLANTA-The Birmingham, AL-based REIT names Gary Farmer senior vice president to oversee Colonial's 17 malls. Farmer formerly worked for Jones Lang LaSalle, JMB Federated Realty and Federated Department Stores Inc.
PHILADELPHIA-The 10-story, 124,050-sf, 264-room hotel at 699 N. Broad St. in Center City was built in 1894 and holds an official state historical marker. Current ownership acquired the property for about $2 million in 2000.

ATLANTA-Jack Minter is named senior vice president and director of investments for the locally based REIT. He brings 20 years of experience in capital markets, most recently as managing director of Credit Suisse First Boston's real estate investment sales group.
PHILADELPHIA-Cincinnati-based based trustee L.J. Shapiro sells the 100,000-sf, 25-year-old shopping center in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Forest Park for $2.28 million to Mendos Inc., which plans a significant upgrade. Anchors are Family Dollar and NAPA Auto Parts.
PHILADELPHIA-The Jenkintown, PA-based developer acquires a 177,000-sf industrial building in Philadelphia County from Pasadena, CA-based Avery Dennison for about $19.77 per sf and leases back 40,000 sf. The building is located on Dungan Rd., northeast of Center City.
PHILADELPHIA-The Rahway, NJ-based developer adds a 96,235-sf office/warehouse building in Fogelsville, PA and another 64,800-sf property in Allentown, PA to its portfolio. Both are 100% leased. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler arranges financing.
