Michigan Ave. allows Parkway Properties Inc. to offer a two-building, two-million-sf package with other interested partners. The attempt to sell a 70% to 75% stake in the Illinois Center properties is part of Parkway Properties' strategy to shift its emphasis from ownership to an operator.

CHICAGO-Norwood Crossing will include 188 independent and assisted living units built on the five-acre Norwood Park Home campus at Avondale and Nina avenues. Ten buildings at the 110-year-old nursing home would be demolished, with only a 30-year-old nursing building and a service wing remaining.
