LOS ANGELES-The 115,925-sf of gross rentable space sold by Catalina Ltd. Partnership for about $97,656 per unit. The Bascom Group, LLC, the new owners, plan to apply $2.25 million in renovations in an operational play to turn the property around within four to five years.
VALENCIA, CA-The property was purchased from the Newhall Land and Farming Co. by DeBeikes Investment Co. The buyer plans to develop high-end, two- and three-bedroom rental townhouses on the site.
RANCHO DOMINQUEZ, CA-NNR Aircargo Services has signed a five-year lease valued at $2 million for 55,788 sf of space, and the Santa Monica Seafood Co. has inked an eight-year lease for 60,700 sf at about $850,000 at the Dominguez Technology Center.
LONG BEACH, CA-The $75 million CityPlace project's retail component is underway with a spring 2003 completion date. The 221-unit residential-over-retail development includes 450,000 sf of retail and restaurant space.
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA-EPD Wearnes will be moving into the industrial building, located at 10730 Bell Court here, by July 2002. It plans some office build out, adding another floor of office space to bring the total office square footage to nearly 3,600.
