CHARLOTTE-Textrum Weaving Inc. purchased a 42,000-sf building in Belmont, NC from Swag-Nit Inc. for $735,000 or $17.50 per sf. Swag-Nit is relocating out of the state.

LINCOLNTON, NC-Cataler Industrial Co. is buying 32 acres in the 450-acre Lincoln County Industrial Park for $270,000 or $8,438 per acre (19 cents per sf). The company's first plant would be 80,000 sf with plans to expand the structure to 120,000 sf over five years. The site is 30 miles northwest of Downtown Charlotte.

ASHEBORO, NC-Kotis Properties of Greensboro, NC is investing $350,000 to renovate the nine-unit, 45,140-sf Hillside Shopping Center and is budgeting another $550,000 to upgrade it further at a later date. The center already has attracted its first two tenants. The property is 70 miles northeast of Downtown Charlotte.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC-Construction is under way on a 50,000-sf structure at Fenton Circle, a 9.7-acre business park located about 20 miles north of Downtown Charlotte. The structure is the second of three office properties planned by Charlotte-based Lord Baltimore Properties.
