JERSEY CITY, NJ—While many developers on the New Jersey urban "Gold Coast" are designing compact living spaces to attract millennials seeking a minimalist footprint, developer Manhattan Building Company is bucking the trend towards smaller apartments with the launch of its second Cast Iron Lofts rental building in Jersey City.
SACRAMENTO—The development plans for the 62.6-acre mixed-use project call for the construction of up to 2,400 housing units, 840,000 square feet of office space and 150,000 square feet of urban retail.
ORLANDO—National restaurant chain Miller's Ale House has inked an 18,944-square-foot office headquarters lease in Orlando. In the move, the company is expanding from 9,000 square feet to 19,000 square feet of office space.
CHICAGO—The new business park represents the developer's first move into the I-355 extension area, where land is far more plentiful than in the nearby I-55 submarket.
