While all of the stats show a growing city center in downtown, the recent biennial survey reveals that residents are concerned about the homeless population in the city.
Private sector employment in the Rockaways set a new record of 14,900 jobs in 2016, 400 more than the previous record posted prior to Superstorm Sandy.
“With a class A office vacancy rate around 3.5 percent, the creative office space that exists in Hoboken today is highly inefficient, while the balance of the office space on the market is more corporate,” says Transwestern's Matt McDonough.
The DCBID's biennial survey shows that the majority of residents in Downtown Los Angeles are young, educated and have a median annual income of $99,000.
