The disposition of the 225-room, Thompson hotel to Union Investment was prearranged more than two years prior to the hotel's completion.

Hines Global REIT acquired the Riverside Center office complex at 275 Grove St. in 2013. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and completed in 2000, Riverside Center comprises three separate four-story buildings connected by a full-height glass-enclosed atrium.

The 184,643 square-foot complex is presently 94% leased to a 38-tenant roster and has recently benefitted from common area upgrades and building improvements totaling nearly $5 million, according to Newmark Knight Frank.

Boston-based Marcus and John M. Corcoran and Company of Braintree, MA have purchased 1943 Dorchester Ave. in Dorchester and 4236 Washington St. in Roslindale.

The property, which was completed in October 2018, was sold by The Hanover Company of Houston for an undisclosed price. The firm's regional office is located at 2 Seaport Lane in Boston.

The development projects approved in 2019 will create an estimated 8,462 construction jobs and 7,799 permanent jobs.
