The purchase of One Nashville Place marks the private real estate equity firm's entrance into the Music City commercial market.

The four-story, 68,500 square-foot property is the largest facility for University Medicine, which operates nine other clinics throughout Rhode Island.

The 1,500-room hotel and convention center located less than 10 minutes from the Denver International Airport and 25 minutes from downtown Denver is expected to begin operations in the fourth quarter of this year.

The seller, a Wharton equity company, acquired the property in early 2017 in an off-market transaction from the original developer and thereafter undertook significant renovations at the property that produced dividends.

The portfolio consists of 461 rooms and will be managed by RHG. With the acquisition of the portfolio, Real Hospitality Group increases its portfolio of owned and managed assets to 105 hotels in 16 states.

The properties, which are approximately 40 miles north of Nashville, are: Heritage Point, Blue Grass Meadows, Parkway Place, Cobblestone, Newton Place, Whitehall Townhomes and Whispering Hills.

AB 448, which is expected to pass next month, will help Orange County set up a trust to develop 2,700 units of low-income housing.
