TravelCenters of Americas is getting out of the convenience store business with the sale of its 225 standalone outlets.

The buyer is a JV between Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP and Lexington.

The three distribution/logistics centers will measure 248,625 square feet, 247,380 square feet, and 245,616 square feet.

A strong economy means a high occupancy rate for hotels through 2019 in the US and in New York, according to CBRE.

Another 3 million square feet of new space has opened in the first half of 2018 with markets such as Seattle, which has more than 1 million square feet of coworking space, says a Cushman & Wakefield report.

“The site in Lawrenceville is a representative example of what the brand is seeking – new construction, and a highly visible and easily accessible free-standing location in a growing market," says SRS managing principal Matthew Mousavi.

Monmouth County is a historically strong retail submarket and home to some of the state's prominent top-performing shopping centers.

The construction boom is nowhere more apparent than the Harwood District near Uptown, with more than 3 million square feet of class-A office, residential and retail space within a campus/park-like setting.
