ORANGE COUNTY, CA-A joint venture of Rockwood Capital Corp. and a Muller Co. affiliate acquire one property in Huntington Beach and another in Santa Ana from privately held Bentall Capital. The two buildings have a combined 480,000 sf.
SANTA MONICA, CA-The construction loan from Holliday Fenoglio Fowler will be used to renovate the 52,800-sf office building, which commands dramatic views of the ocean. Completion is scheduled for next summer.
IRVINE, CA-The distributor and seller of networking products is moving from its current facility in the Irvine Spectrum to a new site, also within the Irvine Spectrum. The new building encompasses 33,400 sf and stands at 38 Tesla.
LOS ANGELES-The TrizecHahn mixed-use project in the heart of historic Pasadena features 565,000 sf of retail and entertainment space and 387 upscale residential units. The retail and entertainment space is already 90% committed.
LOS ANGELES-The build-to-suit headquarters and distribution facility will encompass 138,000-sf, enabling Industrial Metal Supply Co. to more than double its plant capacity. It will rise on a 5.3-acre parcel at 8300 San Fernando Rd. and will include 20,000 sf of mezzanine office space and 118,000-sf of warehouse space.
SANTA ANA, CA-The real estate operating company purchased the retail complex for $8.1 million in November 1998. Passco added significant improvements to the site, including the construction of a 5,200-sf Hollywood Video retail store and a 2,500-sf Jack in the Box restaurant.
LOS ANGELES-The Palo Alto-based company has already occupied the 12,960-sf office space, which is double the size of its previous location, a 5,000-sf space. The 5-year lease is valued at more than $2 million.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA-Locally-based Berkshire Development has paid $17 million for a Rancho Cucamonga industrial site, in a deal that closed this week. The facility is occupied by 47 tenants.
