In conjunction with the bankruptcy filing, the internally-managed REIT reports it has entered a stalking horse equity and asset purchase agreement with an entity owned by funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group of New York City with a bid of $174.4 million.

The county acquired the two buildings that are connected by a walkway bridge over University Avenue for $26 million. Located in Newark's downtown, the complex is located across the street from the Historic Essex County Courthouse.
The lease renewal was signed with building owner Denholtz Properties, which moved its headquarters to the nearly 31,000-square-foot boutique office building earlier this year.
"We applied our proven value add capital program in full force to reintroduce River North Park to the Chicago market," says Lela Cirjakovic, executive vice president of operations at Waterton.
The joint venture partnership says it will embark on a multi-million-dollar repositioning of the property. Keystone reports that it will also relocate its headquarters, currently located at SORA East in Downtown Conshohocken, to the office complex.
The corporate name change comes as the firm gets set to begin a new $250-million project—Seaboard Station—and open a new office this fall in Raleigh, NC.
