NEWPORT BEACH, CA-The locally-based company has sold the 27,603-sf facility to a company specializing in the installation and engineering of telecommunications equipment. The Inland Empire continues to attract industrial tenants, even in the face of a sluggish economy.
LOS ANGELES-The company, Lereta Corp., has inked a 10-year deal for 35,000 sf in the San Gabriel Valley Corporate Center. The deal has occurred as the LA County Environmental Services has signed a 10-year lease to occupy 77,000 sf in the complex.
LOS ANGELES-The project's ground-breaking will commence on Monday, Aug. 27. Known as MC&C Commerce Center, the 500,000-sf industrial facility will rise on a 20-acre site. Completion is slated for spring 2002.
HUNTINGON BEACH, CA-The agreement, which was signed by the City of Huntington Beach and AES Corp. will allow for the operation of two power-generating units that have sat idle since 1995.
TORRANCE, CA-The project, which is slated for a September ground-breaking, will add five three-story buildings to the Toyota Motor Sales headquarters in Torrance. The expansion will encompass 625,000 sf that will house Toyota's Customer Service and Financial Services division.
BUENA PARK, CA-The 164-unit multifamily property, known as Bascom Villas, has been sold by a limited liability company. Although the county's multifamily vacancy rate still hovers at 3%, there have been some signs that the multifamily market may be starting to weaken.
LOS ANGELES-The redevelopment project will turn the 75-acre Fallbrook Mall retail complex into an open-air shopping center. Construction on the project is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2001.
SANTA ANA, CA-Advanced Construction Solutions is developing the two-story office and medical building at 2090 N. Tustin Ave. Completion is expected by end of the year.
