MIAMI-The 230,000-sf headquarters facility will be in Beacon Station here. It will be a build-to-suit project owned by Flagler Development Co., the owner of Beacon Station, and leased to Ryder. The capital investment for the project is reportedly $40 million.
MIAMI-The medical equipment company signed a mid-term lease estimated to be valued at approximately $450,000, based on the $7.50 to $8 per sf asking rental rates at Beacon Centre. This lease brings occupancy in that building to 100% and at Beacon Centre to 98%.
MIAMI-Interamericana Transport has signed a lease increasing its space from 45,780 sf to 74,836 sf at Lightspeed@Beacon Tradeport, Building 1. Based on market averages, the value of the long-term industrial lease is at least $3.5 million.
FORT LAUDERDALE-The long-term office lease is for 30,044 sf at Cypress Financial Center here. The building is 73% occupied. The asking per-sf rental range for full-service, class A space in that submarket is $22 to $27 per sf.
NAPLES, FL-Locally-based Parklands Development LP bought the land in Lee and Collier counties from trustees Dewey Garguilo and Michael Procacci. It is zoned for 120,000 sf of commercial space, 2,893 residential units and an 18-hole golf course.
MIAMI-Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine plans to begin its 10-year lease for 6,078 sf of space at Westfork Plaza on Dec. 20. Restaurant owner Antonio Vilarino says he likes the location because of the growth potential of the neighborhood.
BOCA RATON, FL-As one of the last vacant industrial parcels here, the land sold for $875,000, or approximately $10 per sf. National builder/investor Eire WRC LLC purchased the land from Tyco International Ltd.
