NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL-The locally based REIT received indication from the grocery store chain that its 16 Winn-Dixie locations, 13 of which are in Florida, will not be included in the stores the company recently announced it will close.

MIAMI-A $600,000 renovation has been done to the lobby area and sales center portion of the Everglades Hotel, which exists on the project site. The 7,000-sf sales center includes kitchen and bathroom models, and a scale model of the project.

MIRAMAR, FL-Minto Villaggio Inc. sold the 292-unit, 99%-occupied Villaggio Resort Rental Village here to an unnamed Middle Eastern investment group for $43.5 million. The property, completed in 2003, is a good candidate for condo conversion, a broker involved says.

MIAMI-The $125-million, 42-story, 384-unit north tower, being developed first, is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of next year. AMEC Construction Management Inc. is working on the project, located on the Miami River.

BONITA SPRINGS, FL-RAM Real Estate paid about $90.71 per sf to CRF Springs Plaza LP for the 169,765-sf property here. It is 21 years old and approximately 90% occupied.

BONITA SPRINGS, FL-The project here is to include 1.2 million sf of retail space, 90,000 sf of office condominiums, hotel space, and more than 200 multifamily units. Major retailers lined up include Dillard's, Barnes & Noble, the Sports Authority and Old Navy.

CORAL GABLES, FL-A five-story office building is being torn down and a new 14-story, 83-unit condominium project will be developed on the site by two-year-old H&H Development Co. The project's completion is planned for the fourth quarter of 2005.
