PEMBROKE PINES, FL-The development would consist of 440,000 sf of office space, retail and restaurant space, 600 town house and apartment units and a 120-room hotel and other gathering places. The city's price tag: about $46 million.
POMPANO BEACH, FL-The accounting firm, which paid GJ&T Holdings Inc. of Palm Harbor, FL, $875,000 for the 7,912-sf building, is making the site its corporate headquarters.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH-The $50 million, 21-story oceanfront tower will be a condominium hotel managed by Hilton. Units sell for $345,000 to about $645,000, with penthouses starting at $1.5 million. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2005.
POMPANO BEACH-Palshua Realty LLC paid about $77.85 per sf for the 14,000-sf industrial building here. A related company plans to house an artwork frame manufacturing operation in the building, vacated by Suncoast Industrial Equipment.
CORAL GABLES, FL-The general contractor for the class A office building here is Hoar Construction of Birmingham, AL. The project, which is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2004, is being developed by Hines.
FORT MYERS, FL-The area is seeing population growth and an increased valuation of properties, as investors from the Midwest and other states north are relocating their funds to the greater Fort Myers and Naples, FL areas.
POMPANO BEACH-The staggered, 10-year lease is for 53,140 sf of office and classroom space and represents an expansion for the college, which will begin to take possession of the space later this year.
FORT MYERS-The two are developing Bay Harbor Club at MacGregor, a 343-unit luxury apartment home community here. La Playa, a developer established in February, bought out the original developer on the project.
