BOSTON-Action for Boston Community Development completes its development of a 45-unit senior housing complex at 198 Geneva Ave. The city awarded ownership of the parcel to the development company in 1996. The $6.6 million project is on the site of the former Boston Ice Co.

CHICOPEE, MA-CBL and Associates Properties Inc. closes on its purchase of the former Fairfield Mall site. The Chattanooga, TN-based shopping center developer bought the 23-acre property for $4.3 million from Fairfield Mall LP and is building a 180,000-sf strip mall.
BURLINGTON, MA-Lahey Clinic's proposal for a $135-million expansion project at its facility on Burlington Mall Road is approved by the town's planning board. The 330,580-sf project would add 80 beds, operating rooms, a new cancer center and a four-level parking garage with 1,200 spaces to the clinic.
