MAYNARD, MA-A special town meeting will be held to decide whether a developer can enroll the ailing Metrowest Technology Park property in the state's Tax Increment Financing program. The 55-acre property at 129 Parker St., which was once home to Digital Equipment Corp., is currently vacant.

BOSTON-New Jersey-based Roseland Associates is looking to convert its plans for Pier One, its 585-unit project on East Boston's industrial waterfront, from rental apartments to condominiums. The move comes as developers across the city are converting just about anything--industrial, commercial or residential space--into condos.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Two nonprofit organizations relocate from buildings on Massachusetts Avenue into a total of 11,000-sf. The Society for Organizational Learning is leasing 5,642 sf at 25 First St and the Center for Strategic & Budgetary Assessments is leasing 5,215 sf at 104 Mt. Auburn St.

LEXINGTON, MA-The 285,000-sf, four-building complex located at 10 Maguire Rd. near Route 128 was sold by Nordic Properties and Berwind Property Group to Essex River Ventures for $35.3 million last month. It is nearly 50% occupied.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Cambridge Systematics, a transportation-consulting firm, expands its space to 37,745 sf at 100 CambridgePark Dr., a 135,572 sf first-class building, located in the Alewife submarket of the city. The deal leases up the five-floor building, which was 40% occupied in early 2003.

WESTFORD, MA-Red Hat subleases 37,000 sf from Juniper Networks at 10 Technology Park for the next six years. The Sunnyvale, CA-based Juniper Networks, a provider of networking and security solutions, continues to be a major presence in the area.
