CHARLOTTE-Paradigm Development Co. of Washington, DC has aligned itself with Richmond, Va.-based Cornerstone Real Estate Adviser in the planned development of a $50 million, 14-story luxury apartment building and a 22-story uptown office tower on 2.5 acres at Third and Church streets.
RALEIGH, NC-Walnut Creek Business Park will comprise 1.3 million sf for office, distribution and light manufacturing purposes. Four service center buildings, totaling 250,000 sf, are also planned. Nine distribution buildings will provide more than 1 million sf.

DURHAM/RALEIGH, NC-Highwoods Properties Inc. has sold the four-building, 394,200-sf Triangle Business Center in Durham, NC, to New Boston Fund for $27.7 million. In a separate transaction, Koll Bren sold the 14-story, 139,489-sf Corporate Plaza in Downtown Raleigh to Modern Continental Enterprises of Boston for $8.15 million.
CHARLOTTE-Dennis Richter plans to break ground shortly on Latta Pavilion, a challenging, $45-million mixed-use project in Dilworth, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. The three-acre venture took three years of planning and will comprise 150 apartments, 100 condominiums, 28,000 sf of office and 20,000 sf of retail.
