HARRISBURG, NC-The suburb, five miles northeast of Downtown Charlotte, is attracting Atlanta developer Ed Goodwin, who plans a 200-acre residential community and J& B Development and Management Inc., which has 300,000 sf of office, 450,000 sf of retail and 400 shelter units on the drawing board.

KANNAPOLIS, NC-The automaker's facility will be on 23 acres in Motorsports Park, a 217-acre venture being developed by Whitley & Co. The park will offer 38 buildable tracts at $80,000 to $250,000 per acre ($1.84 per sf to $5.74 per sf).
