The deal with Shell TechWorks is the first lease signing at the 230,000-square-foot office building that broke ground in June 2018.

CPPIB will have a 45% ownership interest in the Platform 16 joint venture. Boston Properties will retain the remaining 55% ownership stake and provide development, property management and leasing services.

The lease expansion was announced by building owner Novaya Foxfield Industrial LLC (Foxfield), the Mid-Atlantic arm of Novaya Real Estate Ventures of Boston. With the new deal, Barry Callebaut now leases 395,000 square feet of space at the 465,680-square-foot building.

National Development and partner Charles River Realty Investors sold the 179,308-square-foot, three- building property, according to commercial brokerage firm Newmark Knight Frank.

The company states that 10 of the skilled nursing facilities sold are located in Nebraska. Four skilled nursing facilities were located in Iowa and one skilled nursing facility is based in Kansas. The 13 medical office buildings properties are all situated in Massachusetts.

The plan for the expanded Boston Convention and Exhibition Center calls for 200,000 square feet of additional space, which is expected to include a 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall; a 60,500-square-foot ballroom and 44,000 square feet in additional meeting rooms.

The partnership plans to construct a modular 110,000-square-foot, Class A, mixed-use development that will feature 131 multifamily units and approximately 8,600 square feet of retail space at the quarter-acre site.

Locally-based developer Bijou Properties and partner Intercontinental Real Estate Corp. of Boston, who previously teamed up for the development and successful lease-up of Vine at 900 Monroe Street, recently announced the marketing campaign for 7 Seventy House, which also includes approximately 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.
