Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear jointly announced the COVID-19 partnership.

NAI Legacy partnered with Minneapolis-based The Beard Group as the developer, Minneapolis-based Steven Scott Management for day-to-day property management of the building and Minneapolis-based CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors who assisted in capital raising efforts.

The firm, currently headquartered at 2905 Northwest Blvd in Plymouth, MN, states that it will begin renovating the Crest Ridge building in early 2020. Its preliminary plan calls for Dominium to occupy approximately half of the 120,000 square foot building.

"This portfolio offered the opportunity to buy a critical mass of medical assets with exposure to some of the top health systems in the country, including Advocate Aurora Health, Einstein Health and INOVA Health System," said Chris Bodnar, vice chairman of Capital Markets for CBRE.

The nine-building portfolio comprises 470,000 square feet across four states.

The fund, through its affiliated entities, plans to develop a 120-room hotel, operated under a nationally recognized brand, and a six-story, 144-unit apartment community at the site.
