FORT MYERS, FL-The developer paid $53 million to Waterman Development for the land here, where the company also is talking about developing 1,000 multifamily units. The land leads to two fast-growing cities: Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres.
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL-Six companies recently inked 40,773 sf in deals at the 410,000-sf, mixed-use business center here. Factory Authorized Medical Scope Repair Inc. signed the largest lease of 18,119 sf.
CORAL GABLES, FL-The company has signed a lease to move from Downtown to 22,000 sf of class A office space in the 4000 Ponce building in the south part of the city. The lease is for 10 years. The building is more than 90% leased.
FORT MYERS. FL-Riva Del Lago Development Inc. is developing two 21-story towers here, as well as a 13,000-sf amenity complex and a 340-space parking garage. The loan is Corus Bank's first closing for a project in the metro area, although the lender is not new to the state. The project has a September 2005 completion planned.
MIAMI BEACH-Art Construction is converting an industrial building into 17 live-work lofts ranging from 845 sf to 3,200 sf. Unit prices in the 40% sold project range from the $300,000s to more than $1 million.
MIAMI- EB Developers of Boca Raton chose the nearly century-old firm to build the 20-story luxury condominium and retail building here. The 177-unit project is to break ground this fall, with units priced from the low $200,000s to the $600,000s.
FORT MYERS, FL-The 20-person brokerage, with offices here, as well as in Bonita Springs and Naples, will be able to expand geographically. The change ends a six-year Grubb & Ellis affiliation.
HALLANDALE, FL-The Hollywood-based developer changed its original plans for rental apartments and received the construction and mezzanine financing for Duo, a condominium project to consist of 398 units in two 25-story towers here.
MIRAMAR, FL-The company paid about $9 million to Arthur D. Weiss, trustee, for the land, at Southwest 145th Avenue and Pembroke Road here. The developer is planning to build 300,000 sf of office space and has further expansion plans in the state.
NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FL-With development financing in place, Cambridge Development Group plans to break ground right away on the 16-story, $25-million loft tower here. The project has a second quarter 2006 completion date.
