MIAMI-The Deerfield Beach, FL-based construction and development firm may build office and retail space on a 23-acre tract of land purchased from Chiocago-based West Point Land Development LLC for $4.33 million or $188,261 per acre.

MIAMI-If the $170 million project gets approval from the city of Hollywood, FL, next week, the development would consist of 250 condominium units, 12,000 sf of retail, 7,000 sf of restaurant space and a 332-space parking garage.

MIAMI-Newark, NJ-based Triunfo Import & Export Corp. is opening a new, 22,000-sf location for a five-year term at Deerfield Commerce Centre in Deerfield Beach, FL. The location will be home to about 25 workers.

MIAMI-The $60 million, 115-room hotel has exceeded a 65% occupancy level in its first three weeks. The hotel occupies the first eight floors of a new 22-story tower, which also houses 88 condos.

MIAMI-Crossroads at Northlake's new owner, Woolbright Development Inc., plans to spend nearly as much as it paid for the 139,171-sf center on renovating it. The $13.72 million bridge loan was 93% of the combined purchase and renovation costs.

MIAMI-The 435,000-sf open-air mall is fully rented out, with 50% of the stores open for business, including anchors Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Eighty-five percent of the stores are expected to be open for the holidays.

MIAMI-Caterpillar Logistics Services Inc. exercised its option as a tenant to buy the 300,000-sf warehouse/distribution building for $18.2 million or $60.66 per sf, then immediately sold it to Lincoln Property Co. for $11.9 million or $39.67 per sf. The parties aren't saying why the deal was done this way.

MIAMI-WestCity Properties hopes to get city approval this month to build Palmetto Park, consisting of 200 apartment units, 110,000 sf of office space and 7,500 sf of retail space on 9.44 acres.
