COCONUT GROVE, FL-An affiliate of Falor Cos. of Chicago paid about $82,122.90 per room to Lodgian Inc. for the upscale hotel here. The new owner is planning a $6.5-million renovation and conversion to condominiums.
MIAMI-The firm is responsible for Latitude on the River's sales center and public areas. The project, which will include a 44-story condominium tower and a 21-story, class A commercial and retail building, will have a contemporary look with warm features and an open feel.
MIAMI-Behar Font & Partners PA of Coral Gables, FL, is responsible for the 19-story project's contemporary design, public spaces and engineering, including structural and mechanical. The project will have 199 residential units, 12,900 sf of office space and 8,856 sf of retail space.

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL-On the property, Menin plans a more than 200,000-sf expansion of the recently purchased adjacent Shoppes at St. Lucie West shopping center. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2005.
BROWARD COUNTY, FL-Many submarkets are seeing signs of improvement as well as rising average asking rental rates, according to a recently released report by CB Richard Ellis. Two of the submarkets where this is true are the Downtown area in Broward County and the Boca Raton submarket of Palm Beach County.
NAPLES-Crows Nest Ventures purchased the 15,310-sf, freestanding building as an investment. The company paid Medical Arts Center LLC about $272.70 per sf for the building, across from Naples Community Hospital.
