WEST PALM BEACH, FL-In its first Florida real estate acquisition, Suresh Sawlani, Roshi LLC paid about $95.12 per sf for the 20,500-sf Dixie Plaza, which was 100% occupied at the time of the sale.
MIAMI-The San Francisco,-based real estate investment and development firm spent about $3.5 million on the redevelopment of the recently acquired 203,000-sf Bristol Distribution Center in Sunshine State International Park here.
MARCO ISLAND, FL-Among the changes are a 24,000-sf Balinese Health Spa, a new 10,000-sf ballroom with a beachside terrace, renovations of all 727 guest rooms and suites with private balconies, and a multimillion-dollar golf course renovation.

In addition, the REIT, whose portfolio consists of 185 properties, has appointed Howard M. Sipzner executive vice president and David W. Briggs vice president and treasurer.
MIAMI-Strong sales of the $250-million project's north tower led to an early launch of south tower sales. Meanwhile, project developer Groupe Pacific has obtained a $73-million construction loan for the north tower, where construction recently began.
FORT MYERS, FL-The property, consisting of an 18,750-sf office-warehouse facility and a 1.6-acre vacant lot, is an investment for the company. Principals of RJ Vann Mechanical, which occupies the space, formed Apex Investments LLC, the seller of the property. RJ Vann is leasing the property back.
NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FL-With the luxury project 70% pre-sold, it is set to break ground in April and be completed in late 2005. The unit prices start at $265,000. The project is part of an effort by Lennar to focus more on multifamily developments.
MIAMI-The property, now called Palmetto Bay Village Center, has inked deals and letters of intent for more than 140,000 sf of space. Among them are Gardner's Market, a gourmet grocery store, which signed for 21,000 sf, and South Dade Rehab Inc., which leased 23,016 sf.
AVENTURA, FL-The Atrium at Aventura will consist of two 11-story towers. Each phase will consist of 96 one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The luxury project, set to break ground in the first half of this year, is being developed by VenAventura LLC.
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL-Average asking rates should rise this year in the county, following increased leasing, positive absorption, positive economic indicators and falling vacancy rates, a newly released report by CB Richard Ellis states.
