MIAMI BEACH, FL-Carlyle/DKE Floridian LP, the new owner of 334-unit luxury tower the Floridian, plans to transform the seven-year-old property from rental units to condos. The seller, Gumenick Properties, sold the asset to diversify its portfolio.
MIAMI-The Chicago-based developer bought the rights to build the residential portion of Mary Brickell Village here. A 34-story, 369-unit luxury tower is planned to break ground sometime next year.
KENDALL, FL-The Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union, based in Miramar, FL, paid $800,000, or $20 per sf, to Miami-based ASA Investment of South Florida for the parcel at Kendall Breeze Shopping Center.
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL-The locally based REIT paid about $144.04 per sf for the 168,005-sf shopping center, which was 93% leased. Tenants include a 50,795-sf Publix supermarket, Pavilion Theatres and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse.
PALM BEACH, FL-Total revenue, however, was up slightly, from $88.4 million to $88.7 million, for the year, while funds from operations were down for both the fourth quarter and the full year.
