NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL-Five companies signed for between 49,300 sf and 112,000 sf in recent deals handled by one brokerage firm. The leases are worth at least an estimated $12 million and total 319,300 sf.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-Jesse Gaddis and Jack Loos are developing the local $35-million project, called Harbor Shops. The center will be anchored by Publix. It is scheduled to be completed next fall.
MEDLEY, FL-The company has paid $1.05 million for a 55,000-sf tract of land at Beacon Station where it plans to build a gas station, car wash and mini-mart. Also, the same buyer recently bought another piece of land at the business park where it is developing a similar facility.
MEDLEY, FL-The distributor of after-market automotive collision replacement parts is moving a few miles away to Beacon Station in a 10-year deal worth an estimated $5.72 million. The company plans to move in November.
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL-The international airline parts distributor plans to use the space at Quorum Business Center here for an additional distribution location. The five-year lease is worth an estimated $913,275.
RIVIERA BEACH, FL-The two-building, class A flex distribution property here was built in 1985 and 1987 and totals 145,800 sf. The loan, with a 75% loan-to-value ratio and pricing based on the 10-year Treasury rate, was originated by Les Goldberg of Cohen Financial.
MIAMI-Several of the leases are new deals for the business park. The new leases have an estimated combined value of $2.3 million and the largest lease was by Suncoast Post Tension, which is taking 38,648 sf in a long-term deal.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-The 77,000 net rentable-sf property, a failed restaurant/entertainment project here that's been vacant for more than three years, is being upgraded and converted into a first-class, primarily office center for marine and yachting-related businesses.
MIAMI-Construction on the 22-story, 119-unit, $40-million luxury condominium tower planned here is expected to begin soon and slated for completion in spring 2005. Units are priced from $240,000 to $500,000. The developer is A.R. Development Group.
